Meet Helen Gain
Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Helen was introduced to the business world at a young age. Her mom, a tough boss from the start, gave her her first job at just 2 ½ years old—picking up trash in the parking lot. Payment was performance-based: 50 cents for a perfect job, with deductions for missed pieces. Over time, Helen learned the value of hard work, fairness, and the delicate balance of running a small business.
Years later, she ventured out on her own and founded Aunty Helen’s Kitchen.
At Aunty Helen’s Kitchen, food is more than just a meal—it’s a personal experience. Helen creates customized menus by understanding the preferences of her clients. Whether it’s the bold, spicy flavors of Asia, the delicate pastries loved by Europeans, or the vibrant combinations inspired by Polynesian cuisine, she draws from her diverse culinary background. Her time in Hawaii especially taught her that food is about love and connection, not just production.
Every dish Helen prepares is made with care and heart, because for her, food is about sharing moments and growing together. Let’s create something unforgettable!
